Meet the newest team member- Catherine Des Rochers

Dr. Misty J. Brown is happy to welcome Catherine Des Rochers to the team. Catherine will serve as Dr. Brown's Office Manager. She is here to assist our patients with any questions they may have and to make their experience in our office and enjoyable one. She takes great price in being a professional and delivering excellent service to our patients.  

Catherine is extremely proud to work for Dr. Misty J. Brown because she is confident that our patients get the best in dental care and knowledge when they walk in the door. She chose to work here because of the emphasis on staying abreast of the latest advances in dental treatment and the continuing education that Dr. Brown receives to stay the top in her field for our patients. She loves how the office works as a team, always putting the need of the patient first.

Catherine always thought that being a mother was the most gratifying feeling ever but she says being a grandmother top's everything. Her two grandchildren, Dawson and Dylan, are the loves of her life and she spends as much time as possible with them. She says they make you appreciate the simple joys in life.

Mavs Theme Day

Last Thursday we celebrated the Dallas Mavericks, 2011 NBA Champions!! Our team was decked out in Mavs gear and our office was decorated with everything Mavs. We even watched the celebratory parade in the office. It was a great day for the North Texas Region!!

June is National Smile Month

Did you know that June is National Smile Month?? When was the last time you had your smile checked out? It's never too late for a beautiful smile so call us today at 817.431.6995. Here are a few tips to maintain your beautiful smile:

• Brush your teeth twice a day with an ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste. 
• Replace your toothbrush every three or four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed. A worn toothbrush won't do a good job of cleaning your teeth.
• Keep your teeth fresh and clean by flossing daily. Tooth decay–causing bacteria still linger between teeth where toothbrush bristles can’t reach. This helps remove the sticky film on teeth called plaque and food particles from between the teeth and under the gum line. 
• Be sure to visit Dr. Misty Brown or your dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams.
